As we all know, the selection of appropriate photovoltaic support is an important link to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the entire photovoltaic solar system.

According to the foundation, the installation of ground solar panel mounting system can be roughly divided into two categories:ground pile installation and cement foundation installation. Let's analyze the difference between them:

1.Ground Pile Installation:The advantages of ground pile installation are that:not limited by seasonal temperature,convenient to pull out,and does not affect the reuse of the installation site. It can be roughly divided into two types:

Hammered pile：Before installation, geological soil test is needed to determine the appropriate hammering depth. Then measure the distance and drive the pile into the ground directly with a pile driver. This method is fast and adaptable. The round pipe, rectangular pipe, sigma type and H-type pipe shown in the figure below are applicable and can be selected according to the actual situation.

Ground screw:when the ground of installation site is too hard or there are too many crushed stones so the pile cannot directly hammer into the ground, we will choose the ground screw installation. The ground screw is driven into the ground and the structure is fixed on it.The combination of ground screw structure is flexible and diverse, and its application range is wide. The common ground screw bracket can be seen in the figure below.

The solar mounting system in the figure below is the ground screw installation. Its advantages are: spiral ground pile is used to adapt to various types of geology; the beam is made of aluminum rail with strengthened design;and the installation and fixation of components are simple and convenient.

2.If the installation site is not suitable for plug-in piles, cement foundation can be selected for installation. The advantages of cement foundation installation are that it is not affected by the ground soil and is very stable. It can be mainly divided into the following two types:

Precast cement block foundation: according to the wind speed of the project site, the counterweight of the cement foundation can be calculated,then the cement block can be made in advance refer to the data. After transporting the cement block to the project site,you can fix the bracket on the cement block with bolts.

Directly fixed with cement: another form of cement foundation is to directly pour cement on the support in to ground. Compared with the above cement block foundation, this method saves the time of bolt connection and fixation, but requires higher positioning accuracy of supporting pile during pouring.
