Innovation drives green development - CORIGY 300MW (420MWp) all-aluminum alloy ground photovoltaic power station project
July 12, 2024 - CORIGY, a leading domestic photovoltaic bracket solution provider, today officially signed a 300MW (420MWp) ground photovoltaic power station bracket project cooperation agreement with a large energy group in Southeast Asia. The project adopts an all-aluminum alloy innovative design and is expected to become one of the largest aluminum alloy photovoltaic power stations in the country, helping the country's new energy industry to upgrade to high efficiency and environmental protection.
The following is the start of the project pile construction.
Project core highlights: All-aluminum alloy technology leads industry innovation
The photovoltaic power station is located in a region with rich light resources in Southeast Asia. The total installed capacity of the project is 420MWp (DC side), the rated AC capacity is 300MW, and a total of 669,200 high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules are installed. The bracket system is designed with all-aluminum alloy materials, which is more than 30% lighter than traditional steel brackets. It has the advantages of lightweight, corrosion resistance, and 100% recyclability. While reducing transportation and installation costs, it significantly improves structural stability and service life.
Power generation benefits and environmental protection contribution: annual carbon reduction exceeds 300,000 tons
According to the average annual sunlight resources of the project site, the power station is expected to have an annual equivalent full-time hours of about 1,400 hours, and an annual power generation of 588 million kWh (588GWh). Based on the country's average annual household electricity consumption of 3,000 kWh, the power station can provide clean electricity for about 196,000 households each year, equivalent to the annual electricity demand of residents in a medium-sized city.
In addition, after the project is put into operation, it can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 317,000 tons per year (replacing about 183,000 tons of standard coal), which is equivalent to the ecological benefit of planting 17.4 million trees.
Intensive land use: efficient use of land resources
The project is planned to cover an area of about 8,400 mu (560 hectares), and the land utilization rate will be increased by 15% by optimizing the arrangement and layout of the brackets.
Corporate Outlook: Promoting Technology Iteration in the Industry
The technical director of CORIGY said: "Through modular design and intelligent installation technology, the construction period of this project is 20% shorter and the cost is reduced by 12% compared with traditional solutions. We plan to increase the capacity of brackets to 2GW in the next three years to help the global photovoltaic industry reduce costs and increase efficiency."
