The signature Y-shaped column design is more than just visually appealing—it's a feat of structural engineering. The bifurcated support creates a stable, balanced foundation for the overhead solar array while minimizing ground footprint. This allows for unobstructed vehicle movement and maximizes available parking space beneath the structure.

1. Traditional carport columns often create awkward parking layouts, reducing the number of vehicles a site can hold. By utilizing a wider span design and strategic column placement, our system minimizes obstructions. End-users experience more convenient parking with wider turning radii and easier bay access. Whether it is for a shopping mall, an airport, or a corporate campus, our carport ensures you generate maximum power without sacrificing parking capacity.
2. Unlike standard
aluminum systems that may flex or require extensive reinforcement, our
carport is constructed from high-grade structural steel. This provides
three distinct commercial advantages:
①Superior
Load Capacity: Engineered to withstand heavy snow loads and high wind
speeds, ensuring the safety of the vehicles and panels below.
②Longevity:
Hot-dip galvanized steel offers exceptional resistance to corrosion,
guaranteeing a service life that matches the performance of the solar
modules (25+ years).
③Stability:
The rigidity of steel reduces vibration and micro-movement, protecting
the integrity of the solar panels over decades of use.
3. The Y-shape naturally distributes the weight of the panels and the cantilevered roof to the foundation. This design allows for larger, uninterrupted canopy spans, creating a more open and airy feel underneath while maximizing the solar array above.
How to Install Photovoltaic Panel on Corigy Solar Steel Carport
1. Foundation Installation.
① Excavation: Excavate to the specified depth based on your local soil report and our engineering calculations(Contact us for the depth needed).
②Ground Cage: Place the pre-fabricated ground cages into the holes.
③Pour Concrete: Pour the concrete and vibrate it to remove air pockets. Allow it to cure fully before erecting the steel.
2. Erecting the Y-Type Steel Columns
Guide the column so that the base plate slides over the protruding anchor bolts.Tighten the nuts onto the anchor bolts to the specified torque value.
3. Installing the Main Steel Beams
Bolt the beams to the brackets at the top of the Y-Columns using high-tensile structural bolts. Ensure the entire steel frame is square and level. Cross-measure the diagonals to confirm there is no parallelogram distortion.
4. Mounting Rail Attachment
Install the rail sequentially across the structure. Ensure the rails are evenly spaced according to panel layout drawings. Check alignment – rails should be straight and level. Temporary tighten connections to allow for final adjustments
5. Solar Module Installation
Secure the module using mid-clamps and end-clamps. Torque all clamps to the manufacturer's specifications to prevent micro-cracks in the glass.

How to Get Your Suitable Technical Drawing
CORIGY's products have been applied to medium to large-scale photovoltaic projects ranging from 15MW to over 810 MW globally. For customer to get their suitable design, we will need you to provide the information below.
1. Dimensions of the panel (Width* Length* Thickness);
2. Layout of the array (How many panels in row and how many panels in
column. Portrait install of solar panel or landscape. Portrait recommend
2-3 rows, Landscape recommend 4-5 rows)
With those two above, our engineer team can calculate how long the length of the rails and beam should be.
3. Install Angle (Recommend 5- 10 degrees)
4. Height from the lowest of the solar panel to the ground (Recommend 2500mm)
With those two above, our engineer team can calculate how long the columns should be.
5. Max wind speed
6. Max snow load
With those two above, our engineer team can decide the specification of the material to use

Customer can customized their suitable carport structure.

As
a professional manufacturer of solar photovoltaic mounting systems, we
understand that proper packaging is essential to ensure product
integrity during transit and storage. Our packaging solutions are
designed to provide maximum protection while considering environmental
sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
We offer three main types of packaging depending on the product type, size, and destination:
1. Steel Pallet (Iron Pallet)
Steel
pallets are primarily used for heavy and large structural components
such as rails, beams, and purlins. These pallets offer high strength and
durability, ensuring that products remain stable and secure during
long-distance transportation and repeated handling.
2. Wooden Pallet
For components and accessories, we use high-quality wooden
pallets. The wood is carefully selected to ensure load-bearing capacity
and resistance to impact. All wooden packaging complies with ISPM 15
standards for international shipments when required.
4. Strapping Belt
Primarily used for packaging steel products. It helps conserve space,
enabling a shipping container to accommodate the maximum possible volume
of steel.
5. Wooden Case
Custom wooden case is available to ensure components are neatly organized and well-protected. All
packaging is designed to optimize container space, reduce the risk of
damage, and facilitate easy unloading and installation on-site. We are
also happy to customize packaging according to specific customer
requirements or project needs.

Corigy Solar driven by automation and precision. Our factory is equipped with state-of-the-art automated production lines that ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality across every product we deliver.
We welcome you to become our distributor.
In terms of selection, Corigy is based on the principle of highest quality. The bracket uses high-quality aluminum alloy (6005-T5) and carbon steel (HDG/ZAM) mounting solutions, allowing customers to choose the optimal material for their project requirements and budget.
Aluminum surface uses anode oxidation 12-15mic. Excellent anti-corrosive rust and anti-rust performance ensures its 30-year service life. At the same time, the characteristics of aluminum lightweight reduces the weight of the roof and make it safe and reliable. The maximum wind speed can carry 60m/s, and the snow load capacity is 1.4kn/㎡.
ZAM
(Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium) is a next-generation coated steel that
delivers exceptional corrosion resistance and self-healing properties.
Under the same coating conditions, ZAM exhibits 10-20 times the
corrosion resistance of ordinary hot-dip galvanizing. ZAM also possesses
self-healing properties. Over time, coating components dissolve around
the cut and punched edges, forming a dense protective film composed of
zinc hydroxide, alkaline zinc chloride, and magnesium hydroxide. This
protective film has low conductivity and significantly inhibits
corrosion on the end face. Because the ZAM coating is very dense and
smooth, its surface hardness (140-160 HV) is 2.5 times that of ordinary
galvanizing (55-65 HV), giving it excellent scratch resistance. It is
suitable for easily scratched or repeatedly rubbed areas during
processing. Furthermore, the ZAM surface treatment does not contain
trivalent or hexavalent chromium ions, meeting international
environmental standards (RoHS), making it an internationally recognized
environmentally friendly product.
All bracket solutions of Corigy are calculated based on the live conditions environment. Corigy's advanced technical team conducted a force analysis of the structure of the building, combined with the layout of the bracket and photovoltaic components to verify the various feasible bracket installation solutions to determine the most efficient, convenient, safe and reliable solution.
